Excited to share that my passion project BABY, a horror feature about abortion access and the evils of trusting your charming nerd boyfriend, was recently selected as a semifinalist for the Moonshot Initiative Feature Accelerator! Got to meet the other semifinalists recently and they’re all so cool. I’m so pumped to be on this list:
Beyond pumped to be working with the inaugural Athena Film Festival Abortion Pipeline Project to develop my horror feature BABY! This screenplay is a shriek of existential rage and I’m so honored and thrilled that Athena saw the passion and wanted to help this baby grow to be the most glorious murder extravaganza it can be!
I’m being featured along with five other incredible writers telling kickass abortion stories, and we’re all receiving a grant and developmental support for our scripts! I just wrapped up an incredible 2-day lab with a number of abortion storytellers and subject matter experts, and I cannot WAIT to jump back into rewrites on this script.
