“What the Ladies Do” at Bacchanalia 2016

Bacchanalia 2016My short play “What the Ladies Do” was included in an evening of readings of short plays presented by Blunt Objects Theatre at Mag’s Bar in New Orleans this March.

Plays were fit to the theme “This is not the Future I was promised,” and all 4 plays included in the festival were unique, hilarious, touching and utterly delightful. I drove down from Houston to see the  show and also had the wonderful opportunity to meet fellow playwright Lia Romeo.

After the show I ate a brilliantly giant po-boy in the company of the three actresses that performed in my piece. They were and are talented and amazing, and I learned so much about the piece from watching them perform it, and from talking to them afterward about the ways that the connected with the characters, the humor, and the violence of the play.

Fantastic, brilliant, wonderful experience, & I cannot speak highly enough of the work that Blunt Objects is doing.
